Research specialization
Remote sensing of the Earth's surface, especially vegetation and water; Imaging spectrometry, including modeling and information retrieval.
My research involves the use of airborne and space-based imaging spectrometers in mapping physical parameters describing vegetated and water targets on the Earth's surface. We develop and evaluate physical models for the quantitative interpretation of data, with applications focusing on forestry, agriculture and inland lakes.
